Getting Started

Welcome to SSH Bridge

SSH Bridge is a modern, web-based SSH client that lets you connect to and manage your servers from anywhere. This guide will help you get started in minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit the SSH Bridge app and click Register. Enter your name, email, and password. You can also sign in with Google if enabled by your administrator.

Step 2: Add Your First Host

After logging in, you'll see the Hosts panel. Click Add Host and enter your server details:

  • Label — A friendly name (e.g., "Production Server")
  • Hostname/IP — The server address
  • Port — SSH port (default: 22)
  • Username — Your SSH username
  • Auth Type — Password or SSH Key

Step 3: Connect

Double-click your host to open an SSH terminal. If you haven't saved credentials, you'll be prompted to enter them. You can optionally save them for future connections.

Step 4: Explore

Use the sidebar to access all features: SFTP file browser, port forwarding, snippets, team management, and more.
